Hesse Instruments was founded in 1992 by Dr. Axel Hesse. In 2000, Dr. Hesse acquired the internationally recognized heating microscope from its former manufacturer Leitz. The entire system has been technically redesigned and a software for automatic image analysis has been added to the product. Today, only the Hesse Instruments heating microscope is manufactured as a direct successor of the renowned former Leitz heating microscope.
In addition to producing state-of-the-art heating microscopes, Hesse Instruments provides an environmentally and cost friendly modernization and automation of older Leitz equipment.
Moreover, customized instruments in the field of high temperature laboratory testing can be built as customer and application oriented single solutions. These will be realized by a team of well-educated and highly involved engineers and technicians.
