New projects start with feasibility studies, examining the underlying concepts, and developing prototypes. Any required certifications are obtained while field tests are evaluated and the designs are finalized. Production is then coordinated to meet the planned market introduction. Furthermore, m-u-t provides training and after-sales services for its products.

The significant experience gained by these project-oriented development activities is applied directly to our own series products. Therefore, our off-the-shelf products are continually improved in quality and cost efficiency, and updated to meet changing market needs.

Measurement and Control Technology for Demanding Positioning Tasks

DR. JOHANNES HEIDENHAIN GmbH develops and manufactures linear and angle encoders, rotary encoders, digital readouts, and numerical controls for demanding positioning tasks. VEGA Grieshaber KG is a world-leading supplier of level, switching and pressure instrumentation. In the area of non-contact level measurement with radar, the sensor manufacturer has been the international market leader for many years already. Radar sensors from VEGA have proven themselves under extreme conditions – pressures from vacuum to 160 bar and temperatures from -170° to +400° C.

The company and its products have all necessary certificates and approvals for worldwide operation. This applies just as much to the technical reliability as to the quality of the products and services. The name Knick has been recognized for outstanding quality in the manufacture of electronic measuring instruments for more than half a century. Back in 1945 the company’s founder, engineer Ulrich Knick, began with the manufacture of high-precision zero-point-stabilized DC amplifiers. These devices enabled the production of reliable laboratory pH meters and other precision measuring instruments.
Knick has been certified to ISO 9001 since 1993.

Our main business is the development, the production and the marketing of monitoring sensors for the physical variable pressure, vacuum and inclination.

We are working close together with our partner company MP-ELEKTRONIK. Our goal is to create sensors and devices with a functional and attractive design and of course with a fair price performance ratio.
