Powel Antica Ltd. is a Slovak traditional producer of devices for hard water treatment with a brand name of AntiCa++. We have been producing the devices since 1993. Our customers include big industrial plants like international steel company U.S.Steel Kosice Slovakia (a subsidiary of United States Steel), chemical plant Lifosa Lithuania and others. AntiCa++ devices are used in industrial applications but also in household applications. The most important benefit of using AntiCa++ is that it saves energy costs (especially in industries) and prolongs the life cycle of pipes and thus protects the nature. Industrial applications include all industries that use great amounts of water in any part of their production process. The most of the applications of our devices are used in heat exchanger stations. In households, we have had a lot of good experience with our devices. Our company produces 2 different systems of the device: 1st type (EUV) works on the electromagnetic principle - two coils wrapped around the pipes that create electromagnetic field inside the pipe which treats water. The types are distinguished according to the pipe diameter and water flow rate. See our website (euvantica(dot)com). 2nd type (N) works with strong neodymium magnets - such magnets easily mounted on the pipes create magnetic field inside the pipe and treat water. The difference between the two systems is that the second type does not need the electrical energy. The efficiency of AntiCa++ devices was tested by Slovak Technical University and Slovak Water Research Institute (for details, see our website waterscale(dot)eu). More of our competitive advantages are: - simple installation of the devices and no need of pipe interruption, - no chemical fills, - no need for maintenance, - no further cost for refilling (compared to the chemical treatment), - hygienic properties and preservation of wholesomeness of water, - treatment of pipelines with great diameter (up to 1000mm), - N type does not need electrical power therefore can be installed in wet and explosive environment.
