The complete equipment was build in 1990 but was in operation just for four years. and then has been dismantled because of the overcapacity in powder coating equipment of the former owners. The equipment is, measured by the estimated durability of such facilities, almost new. The required area for the equipment is around 2000 square meters. Because of the highly flexibility of the complete system, the equipment can be customized to almost every given ground plan. The equipment has been planed and build for the specific usage in fitting production and it would be the best and simplest way to use it again in this production sector. Of course is a usage in lot of other branches of industrial production possible. Therefore we do cooperate with a planning and drawing office in Istanbul which is specialised in production automatization and has been the official representative for Turkey and the middle east of the equipment manufacturer. Because of the know-how and the experience of their staff it will be possible to design the equipment for the use in other industries. Their well experienced assembling crew is able to serve the necessary assembling and offer implementation of the complete system. The equipment is disassembled and mostly packed in containers. Specification The equipment is a "power and free" system based on the Schierholz-System (German manufacturer) DUOMATIC 313. It serves the transportation of parts which need to be powder coated to pass through: a) sandblast cabin b) powder coating system The raw products can be placed on sandblast carrier or sub carriers and through the programmable system control will be target-oriented transported. For the former usage in the fitting production facility the system was measured and designed for raw-products with the measurement of 400 mm length, 250 mm width and 800 mm ultimate height. The transportation-system includes the following areas: - placement area - sandblast area (noise insulation cabin with two wait places and two blasting-places for different blasting angles - powder area (powder cabins with closed im- and export areas, automatic or manually powdering can be chosen) - the infrared zones (gelatinizing the powder by 200° Celsius) - baking ovens (max. 250° C) - downstream process cooling compartments - finished products release station The necessary energy is a) electricity (220 and 380 Volts) b) fuel oil (for the baking ovens) The following single components from various manufacturers should be named: Component Manufacturer automatic powdering guns SFB manually powdering guns SFB TRIBO manual powdering guns Tribostar 400 DFT Powder coating device MPS1-F / MPS2 - F with manual powdering gun PG1 GEMA VOLSTATIC URW automatic powdering cabin SFB URW manual powdering cabins with infrared gelatinizing zones SFB The transportation system is spanning a total length of 1.3 km and enables a very flexible processing (for example parallel powdering in various colours). The transportation and powdering rate depends on the size of the products. The transportation and powder coating rate for fittings is up to 26,000 pieces/day.
