Shaping, cutting, punching, sizing, pressing, rolling – the nature of the material used is decisive to the success of components exposed to severe loads. The material will have to satisfy the demands made upon it in regard to hardness, strength and dimensional stability. And that is exactly what cemented carbide does.
We develop components entirely of cemented carbide as well as composite tools incorporating a combination of cemented carbide and steel.
Cemented carbide can be joined with any of a variety of substrates by way of brazing, gluing, shrink-fitting, pressing, clamping and threaded connections.
