More than 13 injection moulding machines with a clamping force of 100 to 500 tonnes produce at Meinerzhagen in continuous shifts.
A very important area is the in-mould labelling process where the printed packaging label is inserted into the injection mould. The production of the cup and its decoration are done in one operation.

More than just plastics
Plastic as a versatile material has become an important part of our everyday life. They surround us nearly everywhere and their variety in design, quality and technological possibilities has increased rapidly over the last years. The spectrum ranges from ordinary plastics to ultra-light-weight special plastics up to ultra-hard and space-tested materials. Recently, the industry tends toward an exchange of metal or glass in favor of lighter elements to reduce weights and costs.
One-shot and two-shot plastic injection molding
As a contract manufacturer for customers operating in various sectors, we produce complex plastic injected parts with one-shot or two-shot technology. Always on the side of the costumer, we develop constructive approaches, test their feasibility with fill-analysis (MoldFlow) before production and produce tailor-made forms in an in-house mold shop. This shortens the actual process of creating and producing an idea to a finale product. On customer demand, we also refine products or assemble complete systems. We process precise parts with weights from 0.1 g up to 400 g.
Plastic injection over-molding of coated glass
PENTACON holds a patent in over-molding coated glass as used in optical filters. Other than uncoated glass, coated glass reacts far more sensitive toward pressure or thermal deformation. We have developed an approach to over-mold such glass with plastics at a large-scale production.
Even very complex and precise threads are no problem with this method.

Ranging from exchanging single components to a re-design of your products (hybrid parts) up to the complete material exchange - we have developed a wide range of technologies and methods to save you costs and material weights. Usually, our customers come from the automotive industry where products tend to become increasingly lighter.
Tool and form making
Our in-house tool shop is a key for successful product development. Together with our engineering department, we are able to quickly realize costumer ideas to optimized products. We produce precise and complex tools at our HSC-milling center and degrading studio, which would not be possible with common cutting technologies.
