Technical data

1、Materials and Processing Techniques
Ceramic materials such as alumina and zirconia have corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance properties, with a dimensional accuracy of up to 1 micron and a mirror level smoothness
Ceramic tiles should pay attention to their water absorption rate (fine water tiles 3% -6%, ceramic tiles>10%), dimensional error (national standard ≤± 0.3%), and flatness (deviation ≤ 0.5%)
Core processing technology
Laser cutting: used for high-precision molding, combined with gold carving grinding to achieve micrometer level tolerances (such as cylindricity of 0.5 micrometers)
CNC machining:
The recommended speed for a flat bottomed knife (diameter 6mm) is 14000 revolutions per minute, with a feed rate of 0.1-0.5 millimeters per minute
Rough machining allowance of 0.15-0.25mm, precision machining of 0.02-0.04mm, surface roughness can be controlled below 0.2 microns
2、Process optimization and equipment requirements
Tools and Parameters
The ball head knife needs a thin blade design to reduce friction and is suitable for areas with small curvature.
The five axis linkage technology can control the angle deviation within 0.1 ° and process micro holes (depth to diameter ratio 10:1).
.
Equipment performance
Positioning accuracy ± 0.005mm, repeated positioning accuracy ± 0.003mm/300mm.
Magnetic positioning reduces clamping errors and pneumatic fixtures shorten clamping time by 70%.
3、 Quality Inspection Standards
Dimensional inspection: CMM ensures a tolerance of ± 0.005mm.
Surface quality: Ultrasonic assisted technology controls roughness ≤ 0.2 μ m.

Areas of application

1. Medical and health field
Orthopedic implants: Ceramic artificial joints (such as hip joint ball heads) need to achieve a surface roughness of Ra0.01 μ m. The precision engraving machine uses elastic polishing technology to reduce wear rate by 60% and extend service life to 30 years.
Dental restoration: Zirconia crowns achieve a precision of 0.02mm through five axis linkage processing, with a 70% improvement in edge fit and an aesthetic score of 9.1/10.
Neurointerventional instruments: Ceramic catheter with an outer diameter of 0.5mm, laser cutting technology ensures wall thickness uniformity of ± 2 μ m, and the success rate of blood vessel passage is increased to 92%.
2. Electronics and Semiconductors
Ceramic substrate: Aluminum nitride substrate is used for LED heat dissipation, and the wiring groove error processed by engraving and milling machine is ≤± 0.01mm to ensure thermal conductivity.
Electronic packaging: HTCC/LTCC ceramic substrates are precisely trimmed to meet the requirements of multi-layer circuit connections.
3. Aerospace and Military Industry
High temperature resistant components: The rocket engine nozzle is made of special ceramics (such as silicon carbide), which can withstand a high temperature of 3000 ℃.
Bulletproof material: Zirconia ceramic is used for armor in armed helicopters, with a hardness second only to diamond.
4. New Energy and Industry
Solar photovoltaics: Ceramic electrodes and packaging substrates improve battery efficiency, while engraving and milling machines ensure structural accuracy.
Wear resistant components: Alumina ceramic rods are used for lining chemical reactors, with better corrosion resistance than metals.
5. Other innovative applications
Bioactive coating: Hydroxyapatite ceramic coating accelerates bone integration by 40% and is used for surface treatment of implants.
Porous ceramic beads: As a catalyst carrier, with an opening rate of over 50%, they enhance the efficiency of chemical reactions.

Zirconium Oxide - Manufacturers, Traders & Suppliers

Zirconium Oxide
Zirconium oxide is a term for the chemical compound zirconium dioxide, which consists of the elements zirconium and oxygen and belongs to the oxide ceramics. Zirconium oxides are produced from zirconium silicate, also known as zirconium. Monoclinic as well as tetragonal and cubic crystal modifications occur, the cubic modification must be stabilized by the addition of other metal oxides. Zirconium oxides are characterized by good resistance to chemical substances such as acids and alkalis as well as high fracture toughness and are insensitive to thermal influences. The production of refractory ceramics, which are used for lining furnaces and as a material for forming tools in the iron and steel industry, for example, is one of the most important areas of application. Zirconium oxides are also used as technical ceramics, for example in the production of varistors. They are also used as property-enhancing additives in paint production and as material for implants and prostheses in medicine and dentistry. A zirconium oxide diaphragm is the main component of a lambda probe used to measure the partial pressure between two different gases. The function of the probe is based on the ability of zirconium oxides to electrolytically transport oxygen ions at temperatures above 600 degrees Celsius.
