In different and specialized production units located throughout Italy, we produce round wires, square wires, special profiles, flat wires, bars, strips, coils, and galvanic treatments.

1) Wire Drawing Unit
Production of: Drawn Wire, Heat Treatments, Hot Tin Plating
Diameters producible from 0.08 mm (smaller diameters can be produced upon request)
Materials: copper, brass or bronze (other metals upon request)
Packaging in coils, skeins, spools
2) First Rolling Unit
Manufacturable cross-sections up to 10 sq. mm
Production of: Slats, ribbons, wires with square or rectangular cross-section, special and custom profiles
Materials: copper, brass, bronze, aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel (other metals on request)
Packaging in coils, skeins, spools.
3) Second Rolling and Drawing Unit.
Manufacturable sections from 8 sq. mm.
Production of: Slats, round wires, wires with square or rectangular cross-sections, special and custom profiles
Thin thicknesses from 0.03 mm
Heat treatments and hot surface treatments
Materials: copper, brass, bronze, aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel (other metals upon customer request)
Packaging: in coils, bars, hanks, coils
4) Coil cutting units (slitters)
Coils, strips, flats and strips
Thin thicknesses starting from 0.03 millimeters
Materials: copper, brass, bronze, stainless steel (other metals on request)
5) Units for Galvanic Treatments
Reel-to-reel galvanic treatments on round wires, square wires, special profiles, plates, strips
Minimum thickness 0.05 millimeters
Materials: copper, brass, bronze, carbon steel (other metals upon request)
Treatments are also performed on a contract basis

Beside we pay attention to the individual needs of customers, such as weavers, knitting and braiding manufacturers or cables producers. Moreover our company is characterized as one of the few world’s largest special producers of wires for specific applications. As for example woven mesh for electronical screen printing.
Additional to its own production, SPRINT METAL sells also from its sales office, the products manufactured in France by Ugitech SA on the German market. The coordination of all sales activities and support functions is performed in the administration at Hemer.
