Advertising agencies are among the service providers. They provide consulting and averaging services for a client and plan, design and implement measures as part of the marketing mix. The consulting services of an advertising agency include marketing research, media research, market research and advertising research. The mediation service includes activities such as media purchasing and media processing, while the tasks in connection with the marketing mix include the creation and design of advertising campaigns and sales promotion campaigns. Some agencies only offer selected areas of these activities. Other, so-called full service advertising agencies, take over all tasks of the marketing mix. If an advertising agency takes over a job order, then usually five different departments deal with this. These are divided into advertising preparation, customer advice, design, media and administration. The order is classically remunerated by a commission or service fee system. However, billing systems based on performance and results are increasingly used.Advertising agencies are used to change the consumer behaviour of a company's/client's customers or potential customers in favour of the company placing the order. Measures to achieve this include newspaper advertising, television commercials and promotional campaigns.
