Gegründet wurde OTC DAIHEN EUROPE GmbH 1982 in Mönchengladbach – In einem europaweiten Netzwerk kümmern sich rund 250 Mitarbeiter um alle vertrieblichen Aufgaben. Im Zentrum für Service und Vertrieb unweit der NRW-Landeshauptstadt laufen alle Fäden für Robotertechnik, Schweiß- und Schneidstromquellen, Zubehör usw. zusammen.
Als einer der weltgrößten Hersteller von Robotern, Lichtbogenschweiß- und Schneidmaschinen sowie Komponenten für die Automatisierung der Schweißtechnik und des Materialhandlings entwickelt und projektiert die OTC DAIHEN EUROPE GmbH schlüsselfertige Automatisierungslösungen und bildet das Bindeglied zu Systemhäusern und Händlern. Beratung, Projektentwicklung, Systemfertigung, Schulung und Service gehen dabei Hand in Hand.
In Mönchengladbach direkt dreht sich alles um Planung/Bau von Roboteranlagen sowie um Demonstrationen bzw. Versuchsreihen für Schweißprozesse mit Robotern und Schweißmaschinen. Sämtliche Vertriebs- und Servicedienstleistungen für das enge europäische Handelsnetz finden hier ihren Ursprung.
