- der Trocknungsvorgang unabhängig vom tageszeitlichen Energieanfall ist (Bei Heizung, oder Stromerzeugung besteht immer das Problem, dass die Bedarfsspitze nicht mit dem Zeitpunkt der Energiegewinnung übereinstimmt. Folglich ist eine Energiespeicherung erforderlich, was bei der Trocknung entfällt) und
- weil keine zusätzliche Umwandlung der Sonnenstrahlung z. B. in Strom erforderlich ist. Die Sonnenstrahlen werden mit dem Auftreffen auf die Absorberfläche direkt in Wärme gewandelt und direkt als Prozessluft verarbeitet.
