The company expanded its activities in Lemgo and added thermometers of all kinds to its product range:
monitoring thermometers, laboratory thermometers, manometers, aerometers, battery syringes, and antifreeze testers. A plant extension allowed the company to produce enclosures and mechanical thermometers including:
bimetal dial thermometers, dial indicator thermometers, and remote thermometers.
Based on the requests of its customers and its own experiences, the company added the following groups of components to its product line-up:
multi-range manometers, diagonal-tube pressure gauges, U-tube manometers, and swimming pool thermometers.
The product range was later completed by digital handheld measuring instruments, built-in devices with digital displays, resistance thermometers and a wide range of custom models.
While the company focuses its activities on Europe, it also has excellent contacts to customers all over the world.

Tradition verpflichtet
Bereits Anfang des vergangenen Jahrhunderts, im Jahr 1910, begann Benjamin Schneider mit der Entwicklung von Thermometern. Aufgrund seiner handwerklichen Fähigkeiten und seines Ideenreichtums produzierte er schon zu damaliger Zeit hochwertige Instrumente für führende Industrieunternehmen und wissenschaftliche Einrichtungen. Seine erstklassigen Produkte begründeten seinen hervorragenden Ruf in Industrie und Forschung. Seither vertraut eine wachsende Kundschaft auf die hohe Präzision des Hauses Schneider.
1954 wurde die Produktion nach Wertheim verlagert. Damit wurde der Grundstein für moderne Produktionsstätten und weiteres dynamisches Unternehmenswachstum gelegt.
Auch derzeit zählt die präzise Bestimmung von Temperatur und Dichte zu den wichtigsten Aufgaben der Messtechnik - nicht zuletzt auch im Umweltschutz und in der Energieversorgung, die in den letzten Jahrzehnten zunehmende Bedeutung erlangt haben.
Damals wie heute ist das gemeinsame Ziel die Herstellung von hochgenauen Instrumenten zur Temperatur- und Dichtemessung. Eine Aufgabe, der sich gegenwärtig die vierte Generation in gleichem Maße widmet wie ihre Vorgänger.
