Events that have affected the present shape of the company:
1989 – Formation of Buszrem - building and installation company,
1992 – Purchase of brickyard in Kruszów near Łódź – beginning of building materials production,
1994 – separation of one of the company’s specialities, multifamily house building,
1994 – beginning of building and refurbishment investments in Łódź
residential building on Rajdowa street (1994-1995),
estate of detached houses on Rąbieńska street (1995-1999),
estate of detached houses on Wdzięczna street (1996-1997).
1995 r. – running in Gralewo manufacture of vibration-pressed concrete products – paving stones,
2002 – starting investments on construction market in Warsaw.
Successively finished new multifamily buildings:
near Skoroszewska street,
Belvedere – Bielany complex – located at the junction of gen. Maczek and Rudnicki streets,
Słoneczne Skorosze development on Tomcio Paluch street – complex of five multi-family buildings.
2004 - forming Repex Sp. z o.o., entity processing plastics materials for export to Europe and Asia,
2005 – foundation of Paving Stones Factory in Olsztyn,
2005 - implementation of integrated quality management system ISO 9001,
2006 – opening of a new production hall in Gralewo with a fully automated Maza process line,
2007 – initiation of the investment in Ursus district in Warsaw – Rakuszanki housing estate building,

En tant que fabricant autrichien renommé et, dans de nombreux domaines, unique, de matériaux d'isolation EPS et XPS, de profilés de façade, de produits de construction intérieure sanitaire (panneaux de construction), l'entreprise se concentre sur une politique de qualité et d'innovation constante.

La société a été fondée en 1953 par Oswald Nowotny, qui a été le premier Autrichien à produire du styropor. Le groupe Austrotherm comprend des entreprises dans 11 pays avec 19 sites de production et, comme Baumit (façades, enduits, chapes) et Murexin (produits chimiques pour la construction), il appartient au Schmid-Industrie-Holding.
Peu après l'ouverture de l'Europe de l'Est, Austrotherm a été l'une des premières entreprises à pénétrer sur le marché de l'Europe de l'Est. (Polystyrène expansé, Styropor) est un matériau d'isolation qui a fait ses preuves depuis de nombreuses années comme isolant (isolation) dans les toits, les murs, les plafonds et les sols des bâtiments et objets résidentiels
.
Le rose XPS (polystyrène extrudé, mousse extrudée) est particulièrement important lorsque les contraintes extrêmes de pression et d'humidité imposent des exigences particulièrement élevées au matériau d'isolation.
Le matériau isolant haute performance Austrotherm Resolution est une nouvelle mousse isolante rigide qui isole plus de 40 % mieux que les matériaux isolants traditionnels. Il est donc parfaitement adapté aux applications où l'espace est limité.
Les profilés de façade Austrotherm embellissent la maison. Austrotherm UNIPLATTEN sont des panneaux de construction pour les applications sanitaires, humides et intérieures. Les feuilles de mousse PE Austrotherm sont polyvalentes en tant qu'isolation thermique et contre les bruits d'impact et peuvent également être utilisées comme barrière contre l'humidité lorsqu'elles sont laminées.
