Fondée en 2013, ABMT a commencé avec l'intention de vendre et de remettre à neuf des transformateurs électriques. En 2015, après avoir remporté un contrat de recyclage de transformateurs à Piauí, l'entreprise a étendu ses activités à la récupération d'autres matériaux qui composent les transformateurs, tels que l'huile minérale, le cuivre, l'aluminium, les matériaux ferreux et non ferreux.
En 2020, elle a commencé à agrandir la structure de son usine et, l'année suivante, elle a doublé sa flotte de camions. En 2021 également, elle signe son premier contrat international. Enfin, en 2023, elle signe un contrat avec l'une des plus grandes compagnies d'électricité du pays.
