Munich 1972. The Olympic motto ”Higher, faster, further“ fills the whole city with enthusiasm. It also inspires processing engineer Dr. Heinrich Collin to aim for success – even so in an entirely different area.
With the establishment of a design office for special machinery, Dr. Ing. Heinrich Collin laid the foundation for the company Dr. Collin GmbH. Many things have been changing since then.
But the enthusiasm and the sense of innovation of the early days are still driving the company’s business operations and its position in the market. Even after thirty years, COLLIN® is not satisfied with just ”being there“.
The company aims for the top-league and a constant improvement in technical standards in plastics processing, for itself as well as for the entire industry. La société W. u. H. Fernholz GmbH & Co. KG a été fondée en 1963 par les frères Werner et Helmut Fernholz. La production d'articles en plastique a débuté avec une seule machine de moulage par injection. Plus tard, le procédé de thermoformage est venu s'y ajouter. Avec la décision de fabriquer soi-même le film pour les produits thermoformés, le troisième procédé de production, l'extrusion, a été mis en place successivement. L'introduction de l'impression directe, de l'étiquetage et de l'IML s'est poursuivie.
En 1972, le premier hall de production a été inauguré sur le site actuel de la zone industrielle Ihne, à Meinerzhagen. Au cours des années suivantes, la surface de production et de stockage a été continuellement agrandie.
En 2002, Frank et Uwe Fernholz, les deux fils des frères Werner et Helmut Fernholz, ont repris la direction de l'entreprise.
En 2006, l'installation de silos pour les matières premières a été agrandie de manière décisive à Meinerzhagen, augmentant ainsi la capacité de stockage des matières premières.
En 2009, avec la mise en service de l'usine de films à Schkopau, un deuxième site de production performant a été mis en place avec environ 20 employés et des installations d'extrusion ultramodernes pour les films PS, PP et multicouches.
Notre production se concentre aujourd'hui sur les films et les pots pour l'industrie laitière et alimentaire. Nous analysons en permanence de nouveaux matériaux et procédés de traitement.
