Les racines de l'usine de machines de Göritzhain remontent au début des années 1970, lorsque Karl-Friedrich Machan s'est mis à son compte à Augsbourg dans le domaine de la manutention. En 1993, l'entreprise a été transférée à Lunzenau.

Depuis 2022, son fils Jürgen Machan dirige l'entreprise familiale.
