GETA mbH è stata fondata nel 1986 dall'ingegnere laureato (FH) Robert Buhmann a Wangen im Allgäu. Grazie a uno spiccato spirito di sviluppo, a una chiara attenzione alle soluzioni e alle competenze tecniche, GETA si è rapidamente affermata come produttore qualificato di soluzioni interne per veicoli ferroviari.

La joint venture in Cina, conclusa con successo nel 2006, è terminata nel 2020. Manteniamo attivamente i contatti e i buoni rapporti con i nostri partner.

Nel 2014 abbiamo ampliato la nostra sede centrale di Wangen di circa 3.000 m2 . Un anno dopo, nel 2015, è stata fondata la filiale GETA Rus a Mosca. Nel 2019 e nel 2021, abbiamo colto l'opportunità di ampliare la nostra sede di Wangen di altri 5.000 m2 in totale.

Oggi GETA è uno dei leader del mercato. Gli oltre 130 dipendenti della sede centrale di Wangen fanno tutto il possibile per trovare sempre la soluzione ottimale per i nostri clienti.

1788 Count of shipowners from Koenigsbrueck founded in Berne Village, the " iron works" with an iron hammer and a melting furnace for smelting of bog iron from the environment.
1990 Foundation of Foundry Engineering GmbH, based in Bern village , with the following production program :

• Steel construction groups

As of 1992, steel structures, tanks and pipeline construction are included in the production program .
Production is delivered on export companies abroad.
