ミクロンツールは、トランスファーマシンメーカーであるミクロンSAアグノの旧工具部門を母体として1998年に設立されました。その結果、切削工具の開発・製造において数十年の経験を積むことができました。1998年に独立した会社として運営され、25人の従業員でスタートし、現在はスイス（ティチーノ州アグノ）に本社、ドイツ（ロットヴァイル）に販売と製造を行う支社、米国と中国に販売拠点を持つ世界的に活動するツールサプライヤーとなっています。200人の従業員が日々お客様のニーズに応え、パートナー企業とのワールドワイドな販売ネットワークにより、世界中にお客様の身近な存在として存在しています。
