Tradition is fine. Succes is even better. Nestle Fenster has both. Review: In 1597 Ulrich Nestle was born. He went into business for himself in 1622. Today, with Jürgen Nestle, the eleventh generation is active with the same company name and in the same sector. At that time classic handicraft – lead glazing, stained church windows etc. – played a decisive role, these days good product ideas, superior quality and intelligent technical equipment are crucial.
With his take over of the management (1990), Jürgen Nestle set the course: already with the first stage of the new construction of the plant (1993), an innovative corporate strategy had its beginning. Optimized workflows, modern management, a well-defined range of products. With the second stage of constructions (1996/97), the production area was enlarged to 2.000 m². On the new upper floor of this modern glass structure plenty of space for exhibition, consultation and administration was left.
By renting an additional production hall in 1997, the production area was enlarged to 2.300 m².
At the beginning of 2000 the production of wood- & wood-aluminium windows as well as doors went over to the utilization of a Homag CNC-machine.
The 4. stage of amelioration was conducted in 2004 in form of a new stock depot.
In 2006 again, the 5th stage was conducted. Plastic proceeding was displaced to Salzstetten and production area rose to 4.000 m².
Currently 35 people are employed at Nestle Fenster.
