괴리츠하이너 마쉬넨파브릭의 역사는 1970년대 초로 거슬러 올라가는데, 칼 프리드리히 마찬이 아우크스부르크의 컨베이어 기술 분야에서 사업을 시작했을 때였다. 1993년에 회사는 렌제나우로 이전하였다.

그의 아들 위르겐 마찬(Jürgen Machan)은 2022년부터 가족 사업을 하고 있다.
