설립 이후 혁신 역량은 리탈의 DNA에 녹아들었다. 1961년 Rittershausen에서 사업가 Rudolf Lok Elektrogerätebau에 의해 설립된 Rudolf Lok Elektrogerätebau는 즉시 현물로 공급되는 간단한 지침이 있다. 설립된 해에 시장에서 세계 최초로 표준 케이스를 내놓았다. 1969년에 회사는 Dietzhölztal에 있는 Rittershausen의 뿌리를 기념하기 위해 Rittal로 이름을 바꾸었다. 리탈 하우징은 불과 몇 년 만에 글로벌 표준으로 자리잡았고 오늘날까지 유지되고 있다.

• lamps: wall lights, kitchen centres, transistor lights and combination lights
• ventilation technology: refrigeration ventilators, pipe ventilators, ventilators, and much more
