De geschiedenis van Dieker & Voss
De firma Dieker en Voss is meer dan een eeuw oud. In 1903 legde de steenkolenhandelaar Anton Dieker de eerste steen van het huidige bedrijf. Na de dood van de oprichter werd het bedrijf voortgezet door zijn zonen Alex en Franz. De afnemende ontwikkeling van de steenkoolhandel leidde uiteindelijk tot de toevoeging van de bedrijfstak "bouwmaterialen en vervoer" in 1962.
Franz Dieker overleed in 1971 en het bedrijf ging over naar de volgende generatie: De zonen Franz-Josef Dieker en Heinrich Voss namen de leiding van het bedrijf over. Door de voortdurende opwaartse ontwikkeling werd de oorspronkelijke locatie te klein. Het bedrijf werd verplaatst naar het industrieterrein Gescher-Nord.
Op 01.01.2008 heeft Heinrich Voss zijn aandelen in het bedrijf overgedragen aan Franz-Josef Dieker.
