The company GAT- Gesellschaft für Antriebstechnik mbH is an internationally oriented technology company, which offers great competence and reliability with over 30 years of experience in the drive system technology industry. A team of 120 employees develops, produces, and markets rotary unions, test rig components, electrical slip rings, systems for internal minimal quantity lubrication, and air bearing precision spindles.

Our company, which has been family-run for almost 30 years, and which is located near the city of Dortmund, is pleased to be able to present our products to you here.
Thanks to our own production at the Herdecke location we are able to supply you with our products to the highest possible quality and delivery reliability standards. We constantly enlarge and modernise our machine park, so as to be able to produce to the latest technical standards.
Our ISO 9001 certified company also fulfils the highest demands, and is naturally certified to Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/UE. We produce in accordance with all standard guidelines, and our certification is carried out by accredited companies.

Long-life Clamping Technology.
OTT-JAKOB Spanntechnik GmbH specialises in manufacturing tool clamping systems for machine tools and today is one of the key players in the global market. The company covers the entire range of tool clamping technology applications with manual and automatic clamping systems, rotary unions, unclamping units and electronic assistance systems. Core competence is the development of customer-specific complete systems.
OTT-JAKOB relies on an in-house value chain and develops, designs and produces the key components of its clamping systems solely at its headquarters in Lengenwang in the German Allgäu region. With a state-of-the-art machine outfit, the company is able to manufacture large volumes and even highly customised solutions cost-effectively. OTT-JAKOB employs about 230 people. The international sales network consists of 15 representations on three continents.
