De succesvolle bedrijfsgeschiedenis begon in 1963.
Het toenmalige American Louver Continental GmbH werd opgericht als dochteronderneming van een Amerikaans bedrijf en was daarmee een van de eerste bedrijven op het gebied van licht- en plafondroosters.
Vanaf 1983 opereerde het onder de naam ALC-Louver GmbH met hoofdkantoor in Aschaffenburg / Beieren. De aanvankelijk zuivere importactiviteiten werden geleidelijk aangevuld met andere eigen producten. Door innovaties, de beste technische knowhow en productieflexibiliteit is ALC-Louver GmbH al 55 jaar een van de toonaangevende bedrijven op het gebied van licht- en plafondroosters.
Met de verhuizing van het hoofdkantoor naar Bitterfeld-Wolfen (Saksen-Anhalt) op 01.01.2018 begon een nieuw hoofdstuk in de geschiedenis van het bedrijf. Op de nieuwe locatie wordt de productie voortgezet met de knowhow uit Aschaffenburg, zodat de verhuizing bijna onopgemerkt is gebleven.
De mogelijke toepassingen van ALC lichtplafondroosters zijn zeer divers. Of het nu gaat om stripverlichting, complete lichtplafonds of afdekkingen voor inbouw- en opbouwarmaturen, licht- en plafondroosters openen talrijke mogelijkheden om ruimten op een functionele en tegelijk zeer decoratieve manier in te richten.
De rasterpanelen kunnen in een rail, cassette of naadloos systeem aan het kale plafond worden gehangen en verbergen effectief de kabelsystemen die op het kale plafond zijn gemonteerd dankzij hun antiverblindingshoek.

As part of ongoing product development, in 2003 Evergrip brought its manufacturing skills and knowledge to a design requirement for a new railway platform decking system, again made from composite materials. Working closely with Network Rail, this exciting design is now tested, approved and in service and is set to bring about a revolution in platform surfacing solutions. Our newest development, now in progress, is the remodelling of the existing wooden trestle platform substructure in GRP.
Evergrip is now firmly established within the UK and Europe as a leading supplier to many better known distribution and inventory management organisations, selling the success of our high quality products into many varied market sectors; from manufacturing & industrial plants, to local government and infrastructure projects. We have enjoyed a consistent growth in sales since the company’s formation and as a result have been able to sustain and grow our dedicated team of staff here in Selby.
