SMC is een wereldberoemde fabrikant van pneumatische componenten. Het bedrijf is opgericht in 1959 en heeft zijn hoofdkantoor in Tokio, Japan. Aanvankelijk was SMC een bedrijf dat voornamelijk filterelementen van "gesinterd metaal voor industriële doeleinden" vervaardigde door middel van poedermetallurgie. Na decennia van voortdurende inspanningen en innovatie heeft SMC geleidelijk zijn producttypes verrijkt en het vertrouwen gewonnen van talloze gebruikers door te vertrouwen op uitstekende kwaliteit. Nu is SMC uitgegroeid tot een wereldleider in de pneumatische industrie. Het in 1895 door August Beul opgerichte bedrijf wordt nog steeds geleid door de vierde generatie en bedient vanuit Attendorn in het zuidelijke Sauerland de markten van haar vier productlijnen Bouwtechniek, Verbindingstechniek, Waterbehandeling en FlexGuss Gegoten Componenten. De materialen messing, brons en roestvrij staal worden verwerkt tot hoogwaardige producten: van standaards tot individuele high-tech speciale componenten.

SchuF Fetterolf designs and manufactures industrial valves that control, isolate,divert, or sample gases, liquids, slurries or powders.
SchuF was established in 1911 in Germany and now has design and manufacturing plants in the United States, Ireland, India, Germany and Brazil.
The founders of SchuF invented the lift plug, the ram and the disc bottom outlet valve categories.
Today, SchuF has a broad product portfolio based on these initial inventions as well as further developments which include the first diverter valve and the unique outward opening (X-Flash) control valve.

Founded 1969, KFM Regelungstechnik GmbH is primarily involved with control and regulation in industrial heating and process engineering in almost all sectors of industry, including shipbuilding. Both electronic controllers and control valves are supplied, so that, if necessary, the entire control system can be obtained from on source. lf desired, this can also include qualified consultation and advice on control technology.
The company has particularly wide experience and capability in the heat transfer oil sector. One place where this can be seen is in the design and construction of the KFM heat transfer oil control valves. Pneumatic and electrical actuators are manufactured by the company, and are also obtainable with integrated electronic position controllers.
The range of digital industrial and process controllers manufactured extends from simple units to high-performance devices, and are available in all common housings and plug-in formats. Up to eight relay outputs and a large number of signal inputs and outputs may be implemented on each device, and include digital interfaces and connections to all current industrial bus systems.
The devices can all be fitted with one or more of a wide range of controller functions. A modular extension system allows a large number of optional additional functions and supplementary equipment to be installed, including programmable, cascaded and ramp setpoint versions. In spite of the wide variety available, all versions are user-friendly and are easy and straightforward to handle.
Special approvals have been granted for use with thermal transfer oil heaters (DIN) and for marine applications (GL, BV, DNV). Another speciality, much in demand, are special „tailored" series, constructed to special customer requirem

Wereldwijd opererende familieonderneming in tweede generatie
De wereldwijd opererende, onafhankelijke familieonderneming werd in 1964 door Fritz Müller opgericht en is met zijn innovatieve producten en klantspecifieke oplossingen overal ter wereld hét adres op het gebied van de besturing van procesmedia.
GEMÜ wordt als familieonderneming in tweede generatie door de directeur-aandeelhouder Gert Müller en zijn neef Stephan Müller geleid.
Innovaties en onderscheidingen aan de lopende band
De beide directeuren Gert Müller en Stephan Müller maken zich sterk voor innovatie en slaan met GEMÜ de weg naar de toekomst in. In het licht hiervan heeft de onderneming in oktober 2018 met inevvo solutions een start-up-onderneming opgericht, die de kansen die de digitalisering biedt volledig benut en Industrie 4.0-oplossingen zoals het RFID-gebaseerde CONEXO-systeem verder ontwikkelt en op de markt brengt. Maar ook op productgebied getuigen onderscheidingen zoals de „ACHEMA Innovation Award“ evenzeer van de innovatiekracht van de onderneming als nieuwe opleidingsconcepten, waarbij een zelf ontwikkeld Virtuell Reality Training wordt toegepast.

De ondernemingsgroep heeft momenteel wereldwijd meer dan 2200 medewerkers in dienst, van wie meer dan 1200. in Duitsland. De productie vindt op zes locaties plaats: naast de productielocaties in Duitsland produceert GEMÜ zijn producten in Zwitserland, Frankrijk, China, Brazilië en de VS. De wereldwijde verkoop vindt via 27 dochterondernemingen plaats en wordt vanuit Duitsland gecoördineerd. GEMÜ beschikt over een uitgebreid netwerk van dealers in meer dan 50 landen en is op elk continent actief.
