Use Requirements and Selection of Closers
Closer products must meet the national standard GB/T 2698-2005. Closers used for fireproof doors should also meet the requirements of GA93-2004 Fireproof Door Closer Test.
The factors that should be considered in choosing the door closer are: the weight of the door, the width of the door, the frequency of opening the door, the requirements of using and the environment of using the door, etc. The weight and width of the door are the most important factors in choosing the type of door closer. The common doors are fire-proof door, wood door, aluminum alloy door, glass door, steel door, etc. Usually when the weight of the door is small, the model with smaller strength is chosen, and vice versa. And the opening frequency is closely related to the product quality. For the occasion of frequent use, the product should be required to have good sealing performance and long service life.
Requirements for use include:
1) Whether it is necessary to have automatic shutdown function after opening the door;
2) Damping Buffer Function - Damping Buffer is produced when the door is opened quickly to a certain position, and the force and range of the damping buffer can be adjusted by itself according to the requirements of use; This function is used to prevent the door or lock from colliding with the wall when the door is opened forcefully and quickly, or to prevent people from losing weight and falling forward when emergency escape.
3) Delay slow closure - the door closes slowly and uniformly from the maximum position of the door, and can be adjusted steplessly according to the requirements. It is suitable for frequent and crowded places, especially hospitals, with doors and passages for the elderly, children and the disabled.
4) The closing force is adjustable - it can be installed on different doors with large weight and width, as well as in places where closing resistance is high due to environmental reasons. Random stepless regulation can obtain satisfactory closing force, especially in seashore cities, vehicles and boats, where the closing resistance (the force on the door) changes frequently due to wind.
5) Use environment: fire protection and fire protection requirements and freeze-proof requirements of places under 35 degrees below zero in winter.
