Ideen rund ums Messer
Der
Mangel an Rasierklingen in der Wehrmacht brachte den damals 20-jährigen
Helmut Beermann im Jahre 1940 dazu, ein "Kommissionsgeschäft in
Rasierklingen" als Gewerbe anzumelden.
In amerikanischer Kriegsgefangenschaft sah er zum ersten Mal ein
"utility knife" - das ist ein Universalmesser mit auswechselbarer
Klinge.
Die ersten Messer-Modelle dieser Art im MARTOR-Programm waren in den
50er- und 60er-Jahren nicht einfach zu vermarkten schnitt man doch
Papier, Plastikfolien, Kartons u.ä. lieber mit einem Taschen- oder
Küchenmesser.
Seitdem hat das Solinger Unternehmen es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, die
Industrie beim Thema Arbeitsschutz durch sichere Schneidwerkzeuge zu
unterstützen. In Zusammenarbeit mit Industriebetrieben und
Berufsgenossenschaften folgte bis heute ein ganzes Sortiment an sicheren
Schneidgeräten. Ein Produktsortiment von 270 unterschiedlichen
Messertypen und über 300 verschiedenen Klingen machen MARTOR heute zum
Marktführer! Vor allem aber durch die Serie an TÜV-geprüften Modellen zu
