In den 1960er Jahren wurde eine neuartige Armaturenbauweise entwickelt. Erstmals wurde eine einwandfreie Metall-auf-Metall-Abdichtung ermöglicht - dank einer doppelexzentrischen Klappenpositionierung bei gleichzeitig verbesserter Dichtungsgeometrie. Mit dieser Bauweise in hochwertiger Schweißkonstruktion haben sich seitdem maßgeschneiderte Konrad-Armaturen unter dem geschützten Warenzeichen EXENTROMAT® weltweit einen guten Namen gemacht.
Unsere Armaturen finden überall dort Anwendung, wo anspruchsvolle Betriebsparameter gegeben sind oder besonders hohe Sicherheitsmaßstäbe angelegt werden. Düker GmbH & Co. KGaA is a medium-sized company with a tradition of a smeltery and hammer mill. Today there are four divisions: fittings and valves, drainage technology, glasslining technology and jobbing foundry.
With cast iron products, Düker is one of the leading manufacturers of valves and pressure fittings for the drinking water and gas supply as well as of pipes and fittings for the drainage systems.
Furthermore the development and production of acid-proof enamelled components and pipes for the plant engineering of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry belongs to the core competence of Düker.
In the Lower Franconian locations Karlstadt and Laufach there are around
650 employees with an apprenticeship rate of approximately 8%. So Düker is one of the biggest German iron foundries.

Globally focused family-owned enterprise in its second generation
This globally focused independent family-owned enterprise was founded in 1964 by Fritz Müller and has become one of the top choices globally for process media control thanks to its range of innovative products and customized solutions.
As a family-owned enterprise, GEMÜ is now being led by the second generation of the family – Managing Partner Gert Müller and his cousin Stephan Müller.
A whole series of innovations and awards
The two Managing Directors, Gert Müller and Stephan Müller, prioritize innovation and have future-oriented plans for GEMÜ. As part of these plans, the company founded a start-up business with inevvo solutions in October 2018 that makes use of the opportunities offered by digitization and further develops and markets Industry 4.0 solutions such as the RFID-based CONEXO system.
That`s not all – when it comes to their products, awards such as the "ACHEMA Innovation Award" speak to GEMÜ`s strength as an innovator and implementer of novel training concepts, one of which uses their own virtual reality training program, developed in-house.
Over 2200 employees worldwide
The Group currently employs over 2200 members of staff worldwide, over 1200 of whom are in Germany. They have six manufacturing locations: Alongside their manufacturing sites in Germany, GEMÜ manufactures its products in Switzerland, France, China, Brazil and the USA. Their worldwide marketing is carried out across 27 subsidiaries, coordinated from Germany. Thanks to a large network of commercial partners, GEMÜ is now active in over 50 countries on all continents.
