We have constantly developed relationships with machinery and technology suppliers and most importantly to our customers in the automotive, construction, machinery and electronics industries.

Die AGST wurde 1993 als Stahlhandels GmbH gegründet, zu deren Tätigkeitsbereichen der Handel und Vertrieb aller Produkte aus Stahl und Eisen gehörte.
Mit Inbetriebnahme des eigenen Geschäftsgebäudes Anfang 2000 fand bei Edelstahldrähten eine Konzentration auf das Lagergeschäft statt.
Mittlerweile gehören wir zu den führenden Anbietern für biegefähige Edelstahldrähte in Deutschland.
Eisen- und Kaltstauchdrähte werden weiterhin in Kooperation mit namhaften europäischen Herstellern vertrieben.
2002 wurde durch Übernahme der Vertretung der Groupe Numalliance für Deutschland und angrenzende Länder wie Österreich, deutschsprachige Schweiz, Tschechien, Slowakei und Ungarn mit dem Vertrieb von Umformmaschinen für Draht, Band und Rohr ein weiterer Geschäftsbereich aufgebaut.
Weiterhin wird seit Ende 2003 der Service rund um die Maschinen, sowie die Instandhaltung und Wartung eigenverantwortlich über Engelskirchen abgewickelt. Um dieser strategischen Neuausrichtung Rechnung zu tragen, firmiert die AGST seit 01.01.2004 unter der Bezeichnung Draht & Biegetechnik GmbH.
Mit Fertigstellung der neuen Lagerhalle zum 01.05.2005 konnte die Lagerfläche auf 2.000 m² verdoppelt werden. Unabhängig davon werden weiterhin Aussenläger, wie das bei der Spedition Hugger in Rottweil unterhalten.
Seit 01.01.2010 sind wir deutscher Partner für Service und Vertrieb der international etablierten Shinko Machineries Co. Ltd., einem Hersteller von hochwertigen Federwindeautomaten.
Die Kombination der neuen Angebotspalette und die Kapazitätserweiterung ermöglicht es uns, unseren Kunden dauerhaft ein Höchstmass an Service zu bieten!

Today the Walter Widmann GmbH now already is an exempt private company in that 3. Generation.
Our grandfather, Walter Widmann created that enterprise at the beginning of the thirties metalworking at that time.
In the fifties the core business producing by lathe was main, from bearing bushes and similar parts.
But in the beginning of the sixties the first experiences in the plastic injection molding technology were already gained on the legendary ARBURG C4B machines.
With the rapidly progressing development of the plastics engineering, also our enterprise grew up to a competent supplier of technical plastic parts.
A milestone was the development and patenting of our wire feeding units end of the sixties. With this technology completely new fields, which constitute the most important support leg of our enterprise up to the today's day, opened.
The wire feeding units are adapted constantly to most modern machine engineering. Together with our tool technology individual bending, coining/shaping and a moldong-in of wires in one single processing step is possible.
A philosophy of our enterprise is to attain a maximum of quality and customer satisfaction by continuous improvement of all our processes.
We are certified according to DIN ISO EN 9001/2000.
A guarantor for competence and know-how are our coworkers. Some of them accompany us already over decades and did also their training with us.
