L'histoire de l'entreprise a commencé en 1963.
L'ancienne société American Louver Continental GmbH a été fondée en tant que filiale d'une entreprise américaine et fut ainsi l'une des premières entreprises dans le domaine des grilles d'éclairage et de plafond.
À partir de 1983, elle a pris le nom de ALC-Louver GmbH avec siège à Aschaffenburg / Bavière. Au début, l'entreprise se contentait d'importer ses propres produits et les ajoutait peu à peu à son portefeuille. Au cours des 55 dernières années, les innovations, le meilleur savoir-faire technique et la flexibilité de la production ont permis à ALC-Louver GmbH de devenir l'une des entreprises leaders dans le domaine des grilles d'éclairage et de plafond.

Les panneaux de grille peuvent être suspendus au plafond brut par un système de bandes, de cassettes ou de sans-fil et, grâce à leur angle d'occultation, ils dissimulent efficacement les systèmes de conduites montés au plafond brut.
