Since it was founded in 2005 - as a German sister company of the Dutch Horrichs Apparatenbouw BV and Holland Filter BV - UrMaTi Apparatebau GmbH has combined the knowledge and experience of these two traditional companies.

The products were originally used for process and waste water treatment, with extensive experience being gained particularly in the food industry.

Especially in this area, it is of great importance that the equipment is made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials. The decision to exclusively use stainless steel and other high-quality materials was then quickly made. Within the food industry, UrMaTi Apparatebau GmbH has acquired knowledge in the field of production of various apparatuses and internal transport systems.

Of course, these devices are also made of stainless steel. From the food industry we have been able to gain experience in the field of stainless steel industry as well as in other branches of industry.

The UrMaTi Apparatebau GmbH differs from other suppliers by a consistent, customer-oriented tailoring of their products.

If necessary, manufactured devices can be professionally assembled on site with the help of VCA-certified employees.

Filter screens and weaving reeds from Baden-Württemberg The company was founded in 1951 by Karl Küfner. Right from the very beginning, the firm manufactured weaving reeds, the production of filter screens starting up two years later. Today, Karl Küfner KG is an owner-managed family company with over 300 employees at two sites. In Germany's southwestern state of Baden-Württemberg─the heartland of Germany's SME mechanical engineering and toolmaking industries─we research, develop and manufacture for some 500 customers worldwide. Our design, toolmaking and special machine construction departments are also located here. DANGO & DIENENTHAL relies on a tradition of more than 150 years. In 1865 the craftsmen August Dango und Louis Dienenthal founded the company as a non-ferrous foundry. Around the turn of the last century DANGO & DIENENTHAL started to manufacture specialized machinery for the metallurgical industry. Qualified engineers, a modern mechanical workshop and a specialized assembly shop care for reliable quality and the constant development of our product range.
In the 50s of the last century the continuously separation of sinter and other solids out of circuit water in the steel industry became more and more importance. Therefore a new department inside of the company DANGO & DIENENTHAL was founded for the development and production of water cleaning devices (Filters).
First the filters were mainly used for the cooling water filtration in the metallurgy area. By constant development over the years up to now and adding new products our filters are inserted in all types of industries which need solids to be separated from liquids.
Since than the DANGO & DIENENTHAL Filtertechnik GmbH has been manufacturing strainers for mechanical cleaning of liquids for the use in many industrial applications.
Today Dango & DIENENTHAL Filtertechnik GmbH has an extensive know-how and experience in solid / liquid separation and manufactures e. g. maintenance-free, self-cleaning backwash-filters having trouble-free backwash, time and/or differential pressure controlled, for sustained performance.
