Furthermore, artificially created materials such as PVC or polyester fibres in garments are also the result of many years of chemical research.In contrast to physics, chemistry is a rather new science, because the observation of materials and substances on a small scale was not possible several centuries ago due to the lack of optical aids, in addition, many traits of today's chemistry were still described as physical in the past, so that chemical research could only develop properly in the previous century.In any case, it is clear that chemistry plays a very important role today in the natural sciences, but also in the economy, because the manufacture of chemical products is a billion-dollar business. After all, they can be found almost everywhere - whether in shopping bags, computers or certain parts of cars.
