A person without clothes is hard to imagine in this day and age. Clothing protects the skin of human beings against cold, heat and often from prying eyes. The production of clothing was a good line of business for centuries and has now developed into a fashion industry. Fashion designers from around the world are thinking about clothes, because it is still an old saying that: "Clothes make the man". Of course there are still many poor countries and regions on earth, where clothing must only fulfill its purpose and no one thinks at all about, whether color or cut, and style fit together. In all other countries of the world fashion is a big issue. Many people spend a large portion of their salary on clothes in order to present themselves as possibly a "different person" to what they are in reality. With good clothes, possibly fashion brands, you have the ability to spoof wealth that people look at and evaluate again after the appearance.

Good clothes can therefore also further a career, because produces already at the interview the impression that the person has taste and style, a coveted position is easier to achieve than in a so-called "wallflower outfit". Therefore when applied to women a discreet but elegant outfit (skirt, blouse or suit) should be chosen and for men, a suit with shirt and tie. Jeans, sweaters and sport shoes would be inappropriate.
