1869年にAdelbert Fritzがチューリンゲン州Schmiedefeldに設立したAFRISOは、革新的な中堅ファミリー企業で、全世界に1,000人以上の従業員がおり、そのうち550人はドイツの4つの拠点に勤務しています。従来は、温度や圧力などの計測・制御機器を製造していました。また、50年以上にわたり、環境保護のための計測・制御・監視装置の製造も行っています。
