FEAGの拠点は、1996年にシーメンスAGのプラントエンジニアリング部門のエネルギーおよびオートメーション技術作業場から生まれた。2003年、すべての拠点がエアランゲンに本社を置く1つの会社に統合された。2007年、事業運営はFEAG GmbHに引き継がれた。
