PERI was founded in 1969 by Artur Schwörer. The company’s name is taken from the Greek preposition “peri” (English: around). Forty years later, the family-managed company is one of the top 50 companies in federal state Bavaria. Over the last few years, it has achieved above-average growth in new staff and turnover.

Since its foundation in 1932, DICTATOR has continuously expanded its product range and today manufactures high-quality, reliable products for applications in lift equipment, door closing solutions, door interlock systems, door and gate operators and fire door operators, fire door control solutions, hydraulic dampers and gas springs.
