Polytec was founded in 1967 to distribute commercial laser technology to industrial and research markets. Building on the company’s early success, Polytec began to develop and manufacture and then manufactured, innovative laser-based test and measurement instruments in the 1970’s. Polytec vibration analysis systems, length and speed sensors for production processes or optical surface profiling systems support high-quality research, development and manufacturing processes worldwide.
Polytec also distributes, markets, sells and services sophisticated opto-electronic systems and components in select European countries. Besides, Polytec provides analytical measuring systems as an over-all solution for diverse applications in R&D laboratories, for process control and monitoring in industrial facilities.
