Automation Dr. Nix GmbH & Co. KG is a German manufacturer of portable devices for the non-destructive measurement of coating thickness on metal substrates. Our easy-to-use gauges are made in Germany, of high quality and in demand worldwide.
The company was founded 1968 and has its head office in Cologne: all its expertise under one roof. We understand what our customers need. We develop, design and manufacture the QNix® series gauges and test their quality.
We work daily on developing products that meet the needs of our customers and are easy to use. Our goal is to offer you optimal product-related service.
Manufacturing instead of mass-produced goods
All coating thickness gauges in the QNix® series are fully developed, produced and tested in house in our facility in Cologne. They are therefore "hand-made in Germany". We test every gauge extensively in our own calibration laboratory and provide a test certificate with it. Only then will it be sent to you. This high degree of production quality is demonstrated, in particular, by the longevity of our products.
