Founded in 1908 the Cologne family owned company Gebr. Schmachtenberg GmbH has added to the production range in the recycling sector the supply of hammer pins.
The company with its tradition and more than 100 years presence ln the market has from the very start concentrated on the development of their products. Schmachtenberg blades and guideways do not only offer quality but are also products of an innovative treatment of steel. In addition to the wellknown blades for scrap shears and other crushing machines with accessories Gebr. Schmachtenberg GmbH offers now also hammer pins. The first tests in Europe with 2.000 - 6.000 PS shredders have fully justified the offered quality. These hammer pins are not in the low cost range. It has been intended to use high quality steel grades in the production offering a longer life time and a higher resistance to wear and thus distinguish them from the competitors.
