그 회사는 1928년에 윌헬름 이커(Wilhelm Eicker)가 설립했으며, 주로 전 세계로 수출하는 전용 커터를 생산한다.
1946년창업자의 아들인 하인츠 아이켈이 그 회사에 입사했다. 그는 60년 동안 사장이었다. 그의 경영하에 국내와 유럽 사업 모두 확장되었다.
1972년관리 범위가 넓어졌다. 아들 토마스 에이커는 교육과 공부를 마친 후에 회사에 입사했다. 그의 주된 관심사는 추가 수출 확대에 있다. 새로운 회사 로고가 개발되었습니다. 지금은 세계적으로 유명한 지구본으로, Eicker-Messer라는 명문이 새겨져 있습니다.
에커라는 이름은 거의 90년 동안 육류 산업에 특화된 고품질 커터칼을 의미한다. 그래서 우리는 솔링언 제조업체로서 우위를 점하게 되었다. 생산은 가장 현대적인 기계에서 진행되며, 정선된 특수강만을 사용한다.

Fordura Germany was created in Radebeul in 1982, by Forrest Brothers (J. Forrest and H. Forrest) with name of Forrest Brothers Manufacturing GmbH in their small family workshop, which actually was a car garage.
We changed our company name to: FORDURA Recycling Tools Germany GmbH. In the year of 1995, the company name changed into Fordura Recycling Tools Germany GmbH, setting the foundation for the Fordura Group. Over the years, Fordura has become one of the world’s leading blades & knives manufacturers in this market, and our blades are widely applied to renewable recycling resources in plastic, tire, rubber, metal, e-waste, MSW, textile, packaging, paper and wood, like shredder blades & knives, granulator blades, wood chipper blades, hydraulic shear knives etc.
