HSM develops, produces and sells products and systems for compressing materials as well as for cutting and shredding paper and electronic data media.
Hermann Schwelling Maschinenbau GmbH + Co. KG was founded in 1971 in Salem and started a year later with the sale of the first baling press for cardboard.
Like many other successful companies in the world, the development of the company began humbly in a small workshop. Today the office technology product range includes cutting machines, document shredders, shredder-baler combinations and cardboard perforators.
In the corporate division environmental technology, the portfolio includes vertical, horizontal and channel baling presses up to a pressing power of 150 tons as well as PET solutions. The portfolio also includes configuration and implementation of system solutions for shredding and pressing various valuable products such as paper, foil, cardboard, composite materials, PET, foams, car tyres, hard plastics, etc.
HSM has three manufacturing plants in Germany (Salem, Frickingen, Reichenbach) and a joint venture in China for production of document shredders in the entry-level price segment. There are subsidiaries in the USA, England, France and Poland. In a worldwide distribution network, HSM employees collaborate with sales and service points in more than 100 countries.

We are a German manufacturer of scrap processing equipment for the recycling, raw materials and
metal processing industries. The product range includes scrap shears, metal
balers, presses, shredders and other special presses, crushers and shears for
shredding or compacting metal residues. In addition to the design and
manufacture of these systems, Oberländer Recycling Maschinen has an extensive
wear and spare parts warehouse with several well-trained service technicians to
maintain and repair these systems.

OUR THING
Sortatec GmbH was founded in 2015 in 21709 Düdenbüttel near Stade. The employees of Sortatec GmbH have decades of experience in plant and mechanical engineering. This experience in the construction and operation of such plants from the parent companies Heidemann-Recycling and Pralltec is reflected in the Sortatec recycling plants. The company's goal is to develop and build profitable recycling plants from practical experience for practical use.
The core task is the construction and repair of eddy current separators and entire recycling plants. Due to the extensive machinery it is also possible for Sortatec GmbH to offer a wide range of mechanical engineering work - from development to production to repair - from a single source.

For now 30 years economically applicable, environmental-exculpatory shredding technology for nearly each kind of waste.
The MERCODOR GmbH Sondermaschinenbau KG, Frankfurt/Main was created 1973.
The shredders of the enterprise will be used today in commercial and industrial applications, in hotels, hospitals, large-scale catering establishments, on cruise liners as well as during the domestic refuse disposal and with the raw material recycling successfully, in order to reduce the waste volume clearly.
With the customer-oriented plants custom-made on the respective waste problems the waste volume can over up to approx.. 80 per cent to be reduced. Thus also following volume-dependent transport -, camp and dump costs are crucially lowered.
