Falldorf Sensor GmbH is dedicated to the development and production of optical sensors. Since 1996 our team is steadily working on innovative and reliable solutions.

Over 1000 sensors have been supplied to system integrators and end customers and are performing around the world.

In the early nineties Dr. Klaus Barthel created as leading developer and thereafter managing director the Seam Tracking System SCOUT and become important in the serial production in the global automotive industry.

Later Meta-Scout arose as cooperation with a British company and finally a very successful cooperation with Scansonic MI GmbH was formed. Here the Seam Tracking (TH6D) and Seam Finding (FH6D) Systems have been developed which are spread out world wide not only in the automotive industry.

Due to his professional experience in optical measurement and seam tracking and with support of a high motivated young international team of designing engineers and software developers he set up the new company ScoutVision GmbH. Home of the 4. generation optical seam tracking and seam finding systems ST and SF.
