The pfm medical Group comprises several distribution and manufacturing companies; its more than 400 employees are spread across four continents. Our main office is located in Cologne, an important centre for medical engineering in Germany.
pfm medical was founded in 1971 by Jürgen Wolter as 'pfm Plastik für die Medizin GmbH'. The continuing corporate success is based on our consistent focus on outstanding quality. Our portfolio was developed based on our many years of experience and reflects major areas of application in medical practice: Histotechnology, Therapy Management, OR Services, Surgical Implants and Cardio Vascular Technologies.
We distribute our very own products as well as products by leading international manufacturers in more than 100 countries across the globe – many of them exclusively. If necessary, we work on improving them with the manufacturer in a cooperation based on mutual trust.
Wherever we recognise a potential for innovations, our own research and development enters the market with determination. For example, this means the development of innovative specialised products for regional tumour therapy, interventional procedures in radiology and both adult and paediatric cardiology.

Established in 1987, STORZ MEDICAL AG is a Swiss member company of
the KARL STORZ Group. From our headquarters in Tägerwilen, on the Swiss
side of Lake Constance right in the heart of Europe, we develop
innovative shock wave systems that meet the highest standards of
