그의 이름을 따서 라이프치히에 있는 Excelsior 공장인 루돌프 키세에터(Rudolf Kiesewetter)는 1908년에 독일에 첫 측량 공장을 세웠다. 1942년에 공장은 파괴되었지만 전쟁이 끝난 후 엄청나게 많은 노력을 기울여 재건되었다.
Kiesewetter 씨는 1958년에 사망했다. 같은 해, 그 회사는 반국영 기업이 되었다. 이전 민주독일에서 키제뉴터(Kiesewetter)는 일련의 측정 기술 제품의 유일한 제조업체로 발전했다. 주요 제품으로는 스위치 패널 게이지와 노출 게이지가 있다. 또 다른 핵심은 전력량과 물리량을 모니터링, 변환, 기록하는 장비이다.
