Krakchemia S.A is a company with a half-century tradition of trading in chemicals. It belongs to ALMA MARKET S.A. Capital Group.As a separate economic entity active in wholesale, Krakchemia S.A has existed on the market since 2000. Since 2007, the Company has been quoted at Warszawska Giełda Papierów Wartościowych (Warsaw Stock Exchange). KRAKCHEMIA S.A. share capital amounts to 10 m PLN, and the revenues for 2010 equalled to 390m PLN.
Krakchemia belongs to the major plastics raw material distributors on the territory of Poland in terms of sale volume. On the basis of a three-party agreement concerning the sale and distribution of polyolefin products of Basell Polyolefins Company N.V./SA, the major world producer of polyolefins, and of Basell Orlen Polyolefins Sp. z o.o., the leader on the Polish market of polyethylene and polypropylene production and sale, it became one of two authorized Polish distributors of those companies. It bridges those companies and the small and medium-size companies dealing in processing the polyolefins.
In the course of the recent years, KRAKCHEMIA has become one of the major distributors on the Polish territory in the segment of packaging film thanks to the dynamic development of distribution. The Company leads also the activity connected with cutting the packaging film, comprising the longitudinal cutting and packaging film winding. In 2010, the Company expanded its machinery by purchasing a new highly-efficient plant for longitudinal film cutting.
Krakchemia S.A is active on the whole territory of Poland. The domestic distribution market subdivided into three regions : Southern, Central and Norhtern. On the territory of Kraków, in the headquarters of the company, there is the central warehousing basis of 6 300 square meters` area. There is another 4 600 square meters of warehousing area outside Kraków. The logistics center is located in Płock. There are new consulting centres coming into being all over the country. Apart from this, we develop our patron distribution network. The Poland-wide warehousing network allows for the quick execution of orders as well as a rational logistics policy. Online access to the computer system database allows carrying out the sale and customers servicing from practically any place in the country.
