An Overview of Our Business Units
The BÜFA Group is an independent, medium-sized company in the chemical industry. BÜFA, which was founded in Oldenburg in 1883, is active today internationally in the business areas of chemicals, cleaning and composites. We owe our success to innovative, environmentally appropriate products and systems for targeted use that meet the highest requirements and are used in many industries such as railroad, wind energy, food and cleaning. Chemicals
In the chemicals business area, we supply our customers with more than 1,000 different chemical products. Not only is the enormous selection of products impressive but so is our perfect service when it comes to warehousing, packaging and distribution.

Whether salt in its original form, refined or as a saturated solution, all application areas are covered by a complete range of rock and evaporated salts. With a salt turnover of more than 70,000 tons per year, we offer a wide range of products for households, food processing industry and industry, especially for the areas of de-icing salt, water softening, agriculture, chemical industry and authorities. Our many years of experience make us a competent partner for our customers.
