PHOGRAIN werd opgericht in 2015. Het is een toonaangevende onderneming op het gebied van fotodetectorchips en optische sensoren in China, die honderden technologiepatenten heeft en honderden miljoenen fotodetectorchips en optische apparaten heeft verscheept. Het bedrijf heeft de IDM-productiewijze ingesteld, die onafhankelijk het onderzoek, de ontwikkeling, het ontwerp, de productie, het testen en de verpakking van fotodetectorchips en optische apparaten kan uitvoeren, en klanten kan voorzien van rondom geïntegreerde fotodetectorchips en optische apparaten. Daarnaast heeft het bedrijf geleidelijk de sensor detectiescènes uitgebreid op het gebied van medicatie, windenergie apparatuur, speciaal gas, smart home, smart wearable, mobiele telefoon scherm detectie en ga zo maar door, het heeft ook massaproductie bereikt.
