We started up in 1954 as a repair workshop for armature winding and mechanics. SEDLBAUER develops and produces high-quality inductive components based on toroidal coils and for over more than 70 years Polytronik® Toroidal Transformers. We offer a wide standard range as well as custom solutions.
Polytronik® toroidal transformers are best suited to use in modern, powerful equipment and system components in the entire field of electrics and electronics (for example audio/hi-fi equipment, medical engineering, telecommunications, metrology, halogen lighting and alternative energy sources such as photovoltaics).
They particularly stand out for their high performance in compact sizes, extremely low magnetic leakage, maximum efficiency and excellent temperature characteristics. Compared to „normal“ transformers Polytronik® Toroidal Transformers are reduced in weight (up to 50%) and have a maximum efficiency of up to 98%!
