ABMT werd opgericht in 2013 en begon met de verkoop en renovatie van elektrische transformatoren. In 2015, na het binnenhalen van een contract voor het recyclen van transformatoren in Piauí, breidde het bedrijf zijn activiteiten uit met het terugwinnen van andere materialen waaruit transformatoren bestaan, zoals minerale olie, koper, aluminium, ferro- en non-ferromaterialen.
In 2020 begon het met de uitbreiding van zijn fabrieksstructuur en het jaar daarop verdubbelde het zijn vloot vrachtwagens. In 2021 tekende het ook zijn eerste internationale contract. Tot slot tekende het in 2023 een contract met een van de grootste elektriciteitsbedrijven van het land.
