The family-owned company KNOLL supplies manufacturers and users of machine tools worldwide with conveying, filtering and pumping systems. All industries in which machine tools turn, mill, drill or grind use KNOLL products - for example mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, vehicle construction as well as the aerospace industry and energy technology. Another business unit solves demanding logistics tasks with innovative assembly and transport systems.
With over 1,000 employees, KNOLL is the largest company in the Upper Swabian town of Bad Saulgau. Walter Knoll founded the company in a 200 m² hall in 1970. It has been growing constantly on its own premises since 1974. In the beginning, the built-up area was 900 m², in 2015 it's already covering more than 54,000 m². Due to a high vertical range of manufacture, the added value remains within the company. The connection and responsibility to the structurally weak region are firmly anchored in the company's philosophy. Whether it's an airplane, a turbine blade, a car rim, a knife or a cell phone - the list of end products that KNOLL contributes to manufacturing is diverse.

Ons nieuwste product is ons wielaandrijfsysteem, het eWheel. Het is speciaal ontwikkeld en ontworpen om te voldoen aan de vereisten voor gebruik in automatisch geleide voertuigen, kortweg AGV's.

TRAPO GmbH is een toonaangevende specialist in industriële automatisering. Het bedrijf ontwikkelt en produceert automatiseringsoplossingen op maat in de kerngebieden transporttechniek, robot- en grijpersystemen, palletisering en transportsystemen zonder bestuurder. Klanten over de hele wereld profiteren van meer dan een halve eeuw ervaring en expertise. Met zijn aanpasbare TRAPO-technologie helpt het bedrijf uit Gescher-Hochmoor bij het ontwerpen van toekomstgerichte oplossingen voor de toeleveringsketen - van de transportband tot het orderverzamelen. Het doel is om oplossingen te bieden voor de automatisering van uiteenlopende productieprocessen voordat de noodzaak zich voordoet. Met state-of-the-art technologie zet TRAPO AG wereldwijd nieuwe standaarden voor soepele overgangen in productie en intralogistiek. Daarnaast heeft onderzoek en ontwikkeling in het eigen technisch centrum altijd een centrale rol gespeeld. Samen met zijn klanten ontwikkelt TRAPO optimale oplossingen en test alle functies onder reële omstandigheden in het TRAPO technisch centrum.
